Join us for a DEEP STARTUPs, a Create-X Idea Series chat with Krishna Bharat (Georgia Tech Alum, PhD, 1996), Google Distinguished Research Scientist (until 2016), now a Tech Executive in the Silicon Valey, working with many folks on a variety of projects. Krishna is also the creator of Google News, a service that automatically indexes over 25,000 news websites in more than 25 languages to provide a summary of the News resources. He and Irfan Essa will have a chat about his experiences at GA Tech, his time at Google and in Silicon Valley, and his interests in Information Retrieval (IR), Machine Learning (ML) and Startups in general.
